The Inn at Harbor Shores

St. Joseph, Michigan is just around the corner from Chicago, and at the turn of the last century, a resort town for residents of the Windy City. Edgewater Resources, a marina developer, decided to invest in their home town and to explore the business of hotel development on lake fronts.

Having their own in-house engineering and architecture, they reached out to r.o.i. Design for final phase of design, furnishings procurement.

Starting with their furniture plans and budgets, r.o.i. Design made space plans and product and product finish recommendations. We created bid documents, solicited bids for all furnishings, create documents for Edgewater Resources to execute and we managed receipt and placement of product.
Our favorite items of this project were the custom two-toned casegoods for the guest rooms and the soft seating for the bar.
