Dan and Jan Koster founded Enviro-Clean in 1975. Acting with honesty, integrity, and a servant mindset as a guide they grew the company. Crediting their great relationships with customers and employees, they built a great customer base. They have offices in Holland, Michigan and Grand Rapids, Michigan. They clean over 600 sites with more than 1,600 employees. That means they clean 35,000,00 square feet, every day.
When Dan and Jan set to design their new space, they wanted it to reflect their values and brand promise of cleanliness. The space features a very tall space on entry, and the architectural lines are crisp and thrilling. Along with their administrative staff, this space welcomes future employees applying with Enviro-Clean. The space presents a professional company that folks want to work with. Mike Belisle of Design Forum, was the architect on this project and r.o.i. Design came along with an invite from the contractor, First Companies.
Some of our contributions include:
- Interesting acoustic treatment in the entry and the tall walls. In the entry, the lighting design enhanced the variety of shapes.
- Lighting design in the tallest spaces with a goal of crispness and cleanliness.
- Space planning the open stairs to the second floor.
- Select finishes: carpets, paints, laminates, and more.
We wish Enviro-Clean a bright future and we appreciate the opportunity we had to be on the design team.
