At the birth of the ‘home design’ craze in America, Williams Distributing was distributing products to builders and mechanical contractors. They felt the need to be more visible to the end user and started their experiment into retail. They created showrooms called “Williams Kitchen and Bath” and met the homeowner in a showroom filled with vignettes of possibilities for cabinetry, appliances and plumbing.

r.o.i. Design was part of the original planners for their retail strategy and continue to consult with them as they change their offerings to meet the needs of the builder and home owner.

Their Kentwood showroom is now called “Williams Studio” and they no longer sell appliances but Gerrit’s Appliance is right next door. The 2015 remodeling makes the separation between Williams Studio and Gerrit’s transparent. Owners of Gerrit’s engaged r.o.i Design to work with them in their space plan and finish selections.
