Landmark stores stay landmarks by reinventing themselves to meet the expectations of customers. Sharon Fisher, 2nd generation store owner, saw the neighborhood drug store business changing and started to focus more and more on house décor, jewelry and gifts.

As part of the journey, r.o.i. Design helped Sharon remodel the store in 2009 to focus on the non-typical drug store merchandise, and in 2013, the Model Drug portion of the store was sold and the gift shop was expanded to fill the entire foot print.

The remodel of 2009 captured the essence of this turn of the century building by exposing the mosaic tile flooring and reinventing the display shelf that had been there for 100 years. Adding new painted millwork, three layers of merchandising lighting, interior signage and store fixtures, the space sparkled.

With increased floor space, jewelry was expanded and a wider selection offered. We designed a Pandora department and addressed changing lighting needs.
