This small technology group moved into an urban space and used it “as is” with its perimeter offices and generous open space for several years. Then after 2010 their technicians started to outgrow office dwellers in number and they had to relook at their space. They first annexed a small adjacent space but most recently they flip-flopped the office to give the service hub the larger of the space but that meant finding ways to create interest and acoustical dampening.
This flip-flop wasn’t meant to be a long term solution so i3 Business Solutions asked r.o.i. Design to help them with space planning and room dividers.
This low budget, DIY project resulted in improved work spaces for most of the staff and some real transparency for managers to see how they truly work.
