“Do missions where you live” is part of the history of Hope Church. To continue this legacy, more space was needed for children’s ministries at the neighborhood church.   r.o.i. Design was brought to the challenge by principal architect, Steve Fridsma, of Elevate Studio. The former gymnasium was converted to a two story center. The student center on the upper level allows for sports activities, worship area, lounge and perimeter classrooms. The lower level is home to the children’s ministry. We designed the spaces using colors and textures to encourage interaction at each age level. New carpet and new chairs were part of the Worship Center upgrades along with new finishes for the lobby area.
